Great Toe Hemi Implant
BioPro® First MPJ
50 Years of Clinical Success

BioPro’s hemi toe implant is an excellent alternative to fusion. The implant gives patients pain relief and restores motion. The BioPro implant is the most extensively studied toe replacement available. The implant has been successfully used since 1952 and has a 38-year clinical study showing a 97.4% success rate.

The BioPro hemi toe is simple to implant, removes the minimum amount of bone possible, and preserves the anatomy of the first toe.

Subtalar Implant

BioPro® Horizon™ Subtalar

Brilliance Defined

The BioPro® Horizon™ Subtalar Implant is used for the treatment of flatfoot in both children and adults. It is designed to block excessive pronation while allowing normal subtalar joint motion. The patent pending design of the Horizon™ incorporates a smooth, slightly tapered lateral trailing edge, assuring that the talus makes contact with a smooth, flat surface not a sharp thread, when the foot is pronated.

Memory Compression Staple

BioPro® Memory Staple

Body Heat Activated

The Memory Staple is an ideal form of fixation for arthrodesis, osteotomy and fracture fixation. Manufactured from Nitinol memory alloy, the BioPro® Memory Staple is fully active at 98.6OF, patient body temperature. This eliminates the need for an external, dedicated heating device or electrocautery unit, saving both time and cost in the OR.

The Memory Staple's unique activation method is complemented by simple, effective instrumentation providing the surgeon with quick, reproducible results. Available in 17 standard sizes, the Memory Staple offers internal fixation with residual compression.

Bunion Osteotomy Guide
Accu-Cut™ Osteotomy Guide System
Patient to Patient Precision™

The BioPro® Accu-Cut™ Osteotomy Guide System is an easy to use device that allows for precise and repeatable bunionectomies. The patented design allows for the smallest amount of blade diversion available from any device on the market. It can be used for performing multi-planer corrections and for the correction of the Proximal Articular Set Angle (PASA). The device is provided sterile in a single use package with a custom saw blade and K-wires, which reduces sterile processing, time, and cost.

Digital Compression ScrewDigital Compression Screw
BioPro® Digital Compression Screw
A Better and More Rigid Form of Digital Arthrodesis

The Patented BioPro® Digital Compression Screw is the only 1.5mm screw available on the market for the fusion of the lesser toes. The Digital Compression Screw provides the patient with compressive forces which speed the fusion process. The screw is also beneath the skin, allowing the patient to wash their feet with no exposed k-wires, eliminating the potential for pin track infections. The Digital Compression Screw is easily removed during an in office visit.

Peg-in-Hole Arthrodesis

BioPro® TAPAS™

Tight, Accurate, Peg Arthrodesis System

The BioPro® TAPAS™ allows a surgeon to quickly and reproducibly perform a Peg-in-Hole fusion on the proximal interphalangeal joint of the lesser toes for correction of hammertoe deformities. The set features three sizes (3.3mm, 4.0mm, & 4.7mm) each with three components; a peg former, a hole reamer, and a paddle used as a sizing template and K-wire guide. The TAPAS™ allows for the inherent stability and increased bone surface contact acheived with Peg-in-Hole without the technical difficulty and additional surgical time typically associated with this procedure.

Cannulated Screw Extractor
BREAK-OUT™ Screw Extraction System
A simple solution to a difficult problem

Up until now, the only method for removal of broken hardware has been to drill over the screw fragment with a trephine or create a bone window to retrieve the fragment. The Break-Out™ Screw Extractor provides complete absence of bone destruction versus traditional methods, allowing for replacement of the fractured screw with the same size screw.
